Our Approach to Getting the Perfect Lips

“I’m afraid” are typically the first words we hear when we start talking to clients about lips. Afraid of looking overdone, afraid of looking… like a duck. Our approach has always been to make clients feel at ease and to assure them that they’re not alone in these fears. Because after helping hundreds of women get exactly what they want, we know how to ask the right questions to get you the lips YOU want. Here are some of those exact questions you’ll hear us ask to make sure you get the lips that are perfect for you:1. Do you want the lines above (or even below) your lips reduced? Does your lip color bleed into those lines?We help this by putting the lost volume back into the lips as well as directly into the lines when needed.2. Are your lips smaller than what they used to be?You like your lips, but the ones you have now aren’t the same ones you used to have! For you, we’ll use a method that we call ‘plumping’. That means just enough filler of a softer consistency to bring the former plump look back.3. Do you just flat out want bigger lips?This is not an uncommon request. We can definitely do that and advise you, if desired, of the correct proportion for your facial features.4. Do you need symmetry back?Have you noticed unevenness or asymmetry in your lips? Does it make you self-conscious? We can reduce that asymmetry and even help to give an optical illusion that assists the visual symmetry.5. Do you have a special event or professional photography session within 2 weeks?It’s not a good idea to have lip filler within 2 weeks of something significant. Although not everyone who gets lip filler bruises, it’s quite possible due to the increased vascularity in the lips. The last thing you want to worry about before a special event is if your lips are going to be swollen and/or bruised!So, allow yourself 2 weeks minimum when possible before your special time. We then have time to ‘tweak’ things to get your best result in the event of a bruise or unevenness.  Remember, with hyaluronic acid fillers, it is always possible to soften any unevenness and smooth it out AND there is no extra charge for that! It’s all part of the syringe cost. It is possible to bring youthfulness back to your lips in the form of plumping, evening, and reducing lines or even increase your lip size with symmetry and balance.
