How much change can I expect to see with facial filler?
A lot can be accomplished in boosting confidence in your appearance through facial fillers. The most common question is, "How many syringes do I need, and what will it cost?" In return, our question is, what does your budget allow? Generally speaking, the more youthful face will require less filler as the volume loss is yet to come with the "blessing of more years."
If someone comes in with a one-syringe budget, the options are plumping the lips, bringing more forward projection to the chin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, or dampening the nasal labial folds that have begun. You wouldn't want dense filler in your lips that doesn't move well when you speak and smile. And just the same, you don't want soft filler in your jawline; it needs a solid structure that holds firm.
Our 18 years of experience have shown us that clients who keep up with their filler treatments often need less when they come in at the 12-36 month mark (remember, depending on the filler type) for a maintenance treatment. The filler will metabolize over time, which is good since our facial structure continues to change.
