Why We Love Injectables (and We Think You Will Too)
I’ve never loved the term “anti-aging”—it suggests that aging is inherently bad and that we should rally against this inevitable fact of life at all costs! Like it or not, we do all get older—but instead of being “anti-aging,” how about we become “pro-glow” or “pro-radiance”? How about instead of worrying about aging and all its challenges, what if we simply do what we can to support ourselves and our skin to look its best? Yes! I like that!
We believe you can look your best at every age, that you can work with what you’ve got, and that we can help you minimize those areas of your body that have cropped up over the years that you’d rather not see so much (we’ve all got them!).
That’s why we love injectables, like Botox and Facial Filler! They are some of the most helpful and effective ways (alongside other natural ways to rejuvenate) to a refreshed, more youthful AND natural look as we all look down the path of being blessed with more years. And aside from the undeniable results, here are all the other reasons why we love injectables at New Image (and we think you will too!):
No Downtime
I know, you’re busy (who isn't’ these days?!) and so it’s really helpful if you can get back to your normal schedule after a treatment. Because no sedatives or anesthetics are used, you can return to normal activities soon after either procedure (although strenuous activity is discouraged for the remainder of the day) and any redness or swelling that occurs at the time of injection usually resolves quickly.
Minimal or No Discomfort
Aside from a slight stinging sensation some feel during the facial filler treatment or a tiny pinprick when getting Botox (although many people feel nothing at all)—there is minimal discomfort associated with injectables. (Yes, it’s true ladies, when we inject our lips, it’s pretty “spicy” but it’s so worth the short term discomfort!). There may be some tiny bruising and redness at the injection site but most clients experience no side effects from their treatment.
No One Will Ever Know
Most of the men and women we treat at New Image don’t want to walk out looking “overdone” and we completely understand that. Our goal is always to help you enhance your natural beauty in a subtle way that gets people curious or wondering why you look so fresh or well-rested, but other than that, no one will ever know you are receiving a little help from our injectable friends.

You’ll Notice Results Quickly
Botox results are usually noticed within three to five days. However, a few clients may not see the full effect for up to two weeks. After your facial filler treatment, you will immediately see results: a full and natural appearance restored.
Long-Lasting
Depending on your age, skin condition and habits, the effects of Botox can last anywhere from three to six months while facial fillers last six months to two years depending on the type of facial filler used.
As the years tick by, our body naturally has a reduced ability to produce new elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin (a good reason to support it with a quality skincare product such as Alastin) and at the same time, we can start to lose facial and lip volume. It’s not your fault, it’s not anybody’s fault—this is simply nature at work!
