2021 Personal Reflections from Roxy

Get ready, get set, change! That encapsulates 2021 to me!

Indeed, change in the world, in general, began in 2020, and most of us learned new routines for sure. But, along with change, challenges often come, and some were not so easy for many people. We are incredibly blessed with strength and health, which we don’t take for granted! We learned of many life changes for our clients through the year, which often led them to come in for a “pick me up.” Our privilege and joy is to walk through life with our clients, provide the “pick me up” that will encourage them, and speak life to them as they share their lives with us!

A significant change in our world at New Image is moving to a new location. Having sold our medical office building in Waverly (where New Image began in 2008), we discovered a gem on South Paint St in Chillicothe, large enough to house our medical practice AND New Image. ALL UNDER ONE ROOF! Since the purchase closing at the end of May, the building has been getting a lot of love, as I describe it. It has not been a fast or easy project but will be well worth it! After making the final move, we can settle in and focus on the treatments that help our clients the most and encourage them where life takes them. . .that’s our hearts’ desire.

For this girl, who could easily “get in a rut,” albeit a comfortable rut and stay there, the year has stretched and challenged me! I am in the phase of wanting to simplify life–maybe 2022 can get me closer. But, of course, I’m grateful for much in this last year: Healthy and happy children and grandchildren. And a new GRANDSON, this makes five boys, Weston Kent! He is adorable and greatly loved by all but especially his big brother, Jacob Lee!

As we wrap up the year, we hope to wrap up our new office renovations, and I look forward to seeing you in our new location when we come back from holiday celebrations on January 4, 2022!

We look forward to what life holds for us and you in 2022! Blessings to you and yours!
